The POC VPD Max Knee guards are engineered for riders who demand maximum protection on technical mountain bike trails, downhill runs, and enduro courses. Designed to deliver heavyweight crash protection without sacrificing pedaling freedom, these knee pads strike the perfect balance between safety and mobility for aggressive riding. Featuring an innovative two-layer VPD (Visco-Elastic Polymer Dough) construction, the VPD Max Knee is certified to EN 1621-1 Level 2-the highest standard for impact protection. This advanced dual-layer system absorbs energy from high-impact falls while allowing slight movement between the layers, ensuring the pad stays properly positioned over the knee during crashes and aggressive riding. The perforated VPD construction enhances both performance and comfort by promoting controlled compression during impacts and supporting airflow to keep riders cool on demanding trails. Encased in a soft, flexible Lycra sleeve, the protector sits comfortably against the skin and moves naturally with the body in every direction, eliminating rubbing and chafing during extended rides. An ergonomic shape follows the natural curves of the knee in the riding position, providing unobstructed pedaling motion while maintaining full coverage and protection. Whether charging downhill sections, navigating technical enduro stages, or pushing limits on challenging trails, the VPD Max Knee guards deliver the confidence and security that aggressive riders demand.
