Product DescriptionUpgrade or complete your build with the FN AR-15 premium 14.7-inch 5.56x45mm NATO barrel, engineered for durability, consistency, and long service life. Manufactured from U.S.-sourced Chrome Moly Vanadium steel to Mil-B-11595E requirements, this button-rifled barrel is High Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to help ensure it is free of microstresses or flaws. A chrome-lined bore and chamber help resist corrosion and heat erosion for improved barrel life and reliable chambering/extraction. The M4-style feed ramps and barrel extension support consistent feeding, while the matte black manganese phosphate / black phosphate finish helps resist external corrosion and oxidation. Built around a mid-length gas system and an M16-style profile, it's a strong choice for hard-use AR-15 configurations.Product Highlights FN premium AR-15 barrel in 5.56x45mm NATO with a compact 14.7-inch length for versatile builds Chrome-lined bore and chamber to improve corrosion resistance, heat erosion resistance, and service life HPT and MPI tested for added confidence in consistency and quality M4 feed ramps and barrel extension designed to promote reliable, consistent feeding Mid-length gas system with durable phosphate finish for long-term corrosion protectionSpecs Brand: FN Manufacturer Part Number: 20100038 Other Marking/Item Number: 20-100038 UPC: 845737008451 Platform: AR-15 Caliber: 5.56x45mm NATO (also commonly used with .223 Remington) Barrel Length: 14.7 in Profile: M16 / Government-style profile Gas System Length: Mid-length Material: Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel (Mil-B-11595E) Bore/Chamber: Chrome lined Rifling Method: Button rifled Feed Ramps: M4 Gas Block Journal Diameter: 0.750 in Muzzle Threads: 1/2x28 Finish/Color: Black phosphate / manganese phosphate (matte black) Testing: High Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI)Disclaimer: We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date product descriptions, specifications, and images; however, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.
