This is the World War I Model 1873 French Service Cartridge, barrel marks are 449 which is a 429 11MM caliber from the time. It will shoot and uses a modern 44 Russian cartridge. The bluing is beautiful with gold accents and original leather holster. All numbers are correct and matching, normal wear with some holster wear on the barrel nose. Solid rifling and a great addition to any collection.
