The Franklin Armory HSC-15 is the foundational AR-15 platform rifle produced by Franklin Armory, a manufacturer known for engineering firearms that navigate complex state and federal regulations. Company Inception (2010-2012): Franklin Armory was founded by Jay Jacobson around 2010 to 2012. Initially established in California, the company relocated its headquarters to Minden, Nevada, in 2013 to escape restrictive firearm legislation. The HSC-15 Model (c. 2010): The HSC-15 was one of the brand's earliest flagship models, appearing in catalogs as early as 2010. It was designed as a reliable, modular "Modern Sporting Rifle" for recreational shooting, home defense, and duty use.
