What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've worn a lot of fishing PFDs, and this one stands out for kayak anglers. The high-back design works perfectly with taller kayak seats so nothing bunches up behind you. I also like how the pockets are laid out-I can keep pliers, a phone, and small tackle right where I need them without digging around while I'm fishing."Long mornings on the water move easier when our gear stays comfortable and organized. The Lure Angler Personal Flotation Device from Old Town is built for kayak anglers who spend hours casting, drifting, and covering shoreline structure. Its high-back design pairs naturally with tall kayak seats, so we can settle in without bulky foam pressing against the back of our seat. With gear close at hand and nothing restricting movement, we stay focused on the next cast. Thoughtful storage and breathable construction make long days feel lighter. Zippered tackle pockets keep small gear secure while stretch mesh pockets hold spools or accessories we want quick access to. A dedicated pocket fits a VHF, GPS, or beverage, and attachment points give us places to clip tools or tethers. Perforated neoprene shoulder straps wrapped in mesh keep airflow moving, while durable ripstop nylon construction holds up through seasons of fishing trips and dockside rigging.
