What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I used this on a windy ridge climb, and it handled everything without weighing me down. The breathability is impressive for a 3-layer shell, and the hood adjusts easily over a helmet. It's the kind of layer I trust when the forecast is unpredictable but I still want to move fast."Cold wind and shifting weather don't slow us down when we're traveling in the Taiss Light HS Hooded Jacket. Mammut's lightweight DRY Active laminate creates a protective barrier against rain and gusts while still allowing heat to escape during steep climbs or quick transitions. A recycled nylon face fabric adds durability for moving through rocky corridors or brushing past rough terrain, all without sacrificing packability or comfort. Thoughtful details support long days in the mountains. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts with a single pull, and the backpack-friendly pocket layout keeps essentials within reach without interfering with straps. Pre-shaped cuffs and cross-over front pockets add mobility and convenience, while an internal stash pocket offers secure space for smaller items. From wet ridgelines to windy approaches, the Taiss Light HS Hooded Jacket stays responsive to our pace and the conditions around us.
