What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I mounted these on my go-to road bike when I wanted that classic cotton tire feel without giving up tubeless reliability. They roll incredibly fast and corner with a ton of confidence, especially on rough pavement where the supple casing smooths things out."We roll out before sunrise when the roads are quiet and the air is still cool, chasing smooth pavement and long sweeping descents. The Specialized Cotton TLR Tire carries the legendary road feel of cotton race tires into modern tubeless performance, letting us push speed without worrying about flats or harsh ride quality. Specialized builds the Cotton TLR Tire with a Poly-Cotton Corespun casing that blends a strong polyester core with supple cotton fibers, creating an incredibly smooth ride while maintaining durability for real roads. A fast-rolling center tread keeps resistance low when we're driving the pace, while the dual GRIPTON T2/T5 compound balances speed and confident grip through corners. Tubeless-ready construction improves efficiency and puncture protection, giving us race-day performance we can rely on through training miles and long weekend rides.
