"Women's ASICS® GEL-Nimbus 27: If you log serious miles and want a neutral running shoe that keeps your feet feeling fresh from the first step to the last, the Women's ASICS GEL-Nimbus 27 is worth a close look. This is a max-cushion road running shoe built around a soft, smooth ride - the kind that makes long runs feel more manageable and easy days genuinely easy. At 9.5 ounces with an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop, it strikes a balance between cushioned comfort and a ride that still moves with you.The GEL-Nimbus 27 layers several technologies to get that feel right. FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning in the midsole absorbs impact at landing while keeping the shoe from feeling heavy underfoot. PureGEL™ technology adds targeted softness at the heel for a gentler footstrike, which you'll notice most during those first few miles when your legs are fresh. The OrthoLite™ X-55 sockliner adds a responsive feel inside the shoe, and the HYBRID ASICSGRIP™ outsole gives you reliable traction and durability on the road. Up top, the engineered jacquard mesh upper wraps the foot with a secure, breathable fit - snug enough to feel supportive without any unnecessary pressure points. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a long easy run and the cushioning really stood out by mile eight or nine - my feet just weren't tired the way they usually are.
