"Men's Salomon® Speedcross 6: The Men's Salomon Speedcross 6 is a neutral trail running shoe built for runners who want serious grip and a max-cushion ride on all-terrain routes. Whether you're logging daily miles through the woods or pushing hard on a rugged trail, the Speedcross 6 keeps you moving with confidence underfoot. At 10.5 ounces, it runs light without sacrificing the cushioning that makes longer efforts feel manageable. The outsole uses high-density CONTAGRIP for lasting durability and low-density CONTAGRIP to deliver traction and flexibility in muddy or loose conditions - so the shoe adapts to what the trail throws at you. The nylon mesh upper wraps the foot in a secure, comfortable fit that holds up over miles. A 10mm heel-to-toe drop gives the ride a familiar, natural feel for runners transitioning from road to trail. The Speedcross 6 is also made with 30% recycled materials, so you can put in the miles knowing the shoe was built with some environmental consideration. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took these out on a muddy, rooted trail and the grip was immediately noticeable - I wasn't slipping or second-guessing my footing at all. The cushioning surprised me too. For a trail shoe, it feels really comfortable from the first mile to the last. If you run off-road regularly, this one's hard to argue with."" - Sean, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Chula Vista, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner who spends most of your time on trails - whether that's packed dirt, muddy singletrack, or technical terrain - the Speedcross 6 is worth a serious look. It works well for runners with medium to high arches who want max cushioning without giving up traction or trail feel. The lightweight build and aggressive outsole make it a strong choice for everything from casual trail runs to more demanding all-terrain efforts.
