"Women's Merrell® Moab Speed 2: The Women's Merrell Moab Speed 2 is a neutral hiking shoe built for the kind of trails that keep you on your toes - rocky switchbacks, rooted singletrack, and anything else that demands sure footing and all-day comfort. With FloatPro™ Foam in the midsole, the cushioning feels light without sacrificing the support you need when the miles add up. If you spend long days on the trail and want a shoe that keeps up without weighing you down, this one is worth a close look.Underfoot, FlexPlate™ technology gives the shoe torsional rigidity and lateral stability while still allowing natural forefoot flex - so you can move with the terrain instead of fighting it. The Vibram® TC5+ outsole with debris-shedding traction lugs grips confidently on loose dirt, wet rock, and everything in between. An abrasion-resistant synthetic heel and toe cap add protection where the trail is hardest on your gear. The 10mm heel-to-toe drop supports a balanced stride, and the fit runs about a half size up, so keep that in mind when ordering. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a longer trail hike with some technical sections and was really impressed by how stable they felt without being stiff. The traction held up on wet roots and loose gravel, and my feet still felt good at the end of the day. If you hike a lot and want something that can handle real terrain without feeling like a heavy boot, these are a solid pick."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you're a hiker or trail enthusiast who wants a lightweight, neutral hiking shoe that can handle rugged terrain without sacrificing comfort over long distances, the Moab Speed 2 is a strong fit.
