"Men's Topo Athletic® Aura: The Men's Topo Athletic Aura is a max-cushion stability running shoe built for runners and walkers who want serious comfort underfoot without sacrificing support. With a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop and a generous midsole platform, the Aura is at home on daily training runs, longer road miles, and fast-paced walks where you need your feet to feel good from start to finish. The ZipFoam™ midsole geometry guides you through each stride with built-in posting support that keeps your gait on track - especially useful if you tend to overpronate or just want a more controlled ride. At 10.9 ounces, it carries a bit of weight, but that's the trade-off for the cushioning level it brings. The engineered mesh upper moves air through the shoe while holding your foot securely, and the Ortholite™ sockliner molds to your foot over time for a fit that feels more personalized the more you wear it.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put a customer in the Aura who was dealing with fatigue on longer training runs and wanted more support than a neutral shoe was giving him. The ZipFoam midsole has a noticeably soft feel, but the stability geometry keeps things from feeling sloppy. He came back and said his feet felt better at mile 8 than they had in months."" - Michael, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Seattle WAWho It's Best ForIf you're a runner or walker who wants max cushioning with stability support for daily training and longer road runs, the Aura is worth a serious look. It's a strong fit for overpronators or anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet and needs a shoe that keeps up with the mileage without leaving them feeling worn down. The roomy midsole platform and supportive ride make it a go-to for high-mileage training weeks where comfort is the priority.
