"Men's Inov-8® Bare-XF v2: The Inov-8® Bare-XF v2 is a zero-drop cross training shoe built for athletes who want to feel the ground beneath them. At just 210 grams, it sits close to the floor and moves with your foot rather than around it - making it a natural fit for barefoot-style lifting, functional fitness, yoga, and light running. If you've been looking for a minimalist training shoe that gets out of the way and lets your foot do the work, this is it.The seamless 3D air mesh upper wraps the foot in a single breathable, flexible piece - no overlays, no bulk, just a clean fit that flexes naturally with every movement. The wide NATURALFIT toe box gives your toes room to spread out the way they would if you weren't wearing shoes at all, which matters when you're squatting, lunging, or moving through a full range of motion. A BOOMERANG insole adds a thin layer of responsive cushioning underfoot without raising the heel or changing the flat, grounded feel the shoe is built around. The 0mm drop keeps your foot in a natural position from heel to toe throughout every workout. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a lifting session and immediately noticed how flat and connected to the floor they feel - there's nothing between you and the ground. The wide toe box is the real standout for me. My toes had room to spread during squats in a way that most training shoes just don't allow."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you train in a gym, practice yoga, or prefer a minimalist feel for functional fitness and barefoot-style lifting, the Bare-XF v2 is worth a close look. It's a strong choice for athletes who want a zero-drop, lightweight training shoe that prioritizes ground feel and natural foot movement over cushioning and structure. The wide toe box makes it especially appealing if you've found conventional training shoes too narrow or restrictive.
