"Men's ASICS® GEL-Renma 2: The Men's ASICS GEL-Renma 2 is a court training shoe built for indoor athletes who need lateral stability and confident footing during fast, multi-directional movement. Whether you're playing pickleball, tennis, or putting in gym work that demands quick side-to-side cuts, this shoe keeps you grounded and moving naturally. The synthetic leather upper reinforces midfoot support so you stay controlled during those sharp directional changes - not fighting your footwear to make them happen.Underfoot, TRUSSTIC™ technology in the midsole adds structure and reduces twisting, which means your foot stays smooth and balanced when you push off laterally or change direction fast. Soft materials and a flexible outsole design give the shoe a comfortable, foot-hugging feel without sacrificing the support you need on the court. If you size up in court shoes, note that this one fits best going up half a size for the right feel. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on a customer who plays pickleball a few times a week and was dealing with that sloppy, sliding feeling in his old shoes. The midfoot support in the GEL-Renma 2 was immediately noticeable - his foot wasn't shifting around during lateral drills. The flexible outsole also made it feel less stiff than a lot of court shoes, which he really appreciated."" - Michael, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Seattle WAWho It's Best ForIf you play pickleball or tennis indoors, or do gym training that involves a lot of lateral movement, the GEL-Renma 2 is worth a serious look. It's a strong fit for athletes who want a court shoe that feels comfortable and supportive without being rigid - especially if you value midfoot stability during quick cuts and side-to-side transitions. The flexible outsole and foot-hugging upper make it a solid choice for longer sessions where comfort matters as much as control.
