"Men's Xero Shoes® Mesa Trail Waterproof: The Mesa Trail Waterproof is a men's trail running shoe built for off-road adventures where wet conditions are part of the deal. Xero Shoes designed it with a fully seam-sealed inner booty, gusseted tongue, and proprietary Xero-Tex™ waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry when the trail gets muddy, wet, or unpredictable. At a zero-drop profile, it keeps you close to the ground and lets your feet move naturally through every step.Underfoot, an embedded 3mm TrailFoam™ layer adds protection without adding unnecessary bulk, so you get trail feedback with a bit of cushioning between you and the terrain. The lugged outsole grips well on loose and uneven surfaces, and the adjustable midfoot and instep straps give you a secure, dialed-in fit that holds through technical sections. The result is a lightweight neutral trail shoe that feels connected to the trail rather than insulated from it.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""What I noticed right away is how secure the fit feels with those adjustable straps - it's not something you see on most trail shoes, and it makes a real difference on uneven ground. The zero-drop setup takes some getting used to if you're coming from a more traditional shoe, but once you're dialed in, the waterproofing holds up and the lugs do their job on wet dirt and roots."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you prefer a natural, low-to-the-ground feel and want a waterproof trail running shoe that can handle wet and muddy conditions, the Mesa Trail Waterproof is worth a serious look. It's a strong fit for neutral runners who gravitate toward minimalist footwear, want reliable traction on technical trails, and need weather protection without a heavy or bulky shoe.
