"Men's New Balance® 990v6: The Men's New Balance 990v6 is a stability running shoe that earns its place well beyond the track. Built for stability runners and overpronators who want real support without giving up comfort, it handles light running and casual walking with equal ease. The ENCAP EVA midsole keeps each step soft while a polyurethane rim adds structure and durability underfoot - so you get cushioning that holds up over time, not just on the first wear. Whether you're logging easy miles or spending a full day on your feet, the 990v6 keeps up.The breathable mesh upper works with suede overlays to give the shoe a look that moves naturally from a workout to the rest of your day. An OrthoLite® insert adds a layer of underfoot comfort that makes a real difference on longer outings. Reflective details round out the build for low-light visibility. If you size up half a size as recommended, the fit feels roomy enough for all-day wear without feeling sloppy during activity. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I recommend the 990v6 a lot to guys who overpronate but don't want a shoe that feels stiff or clunky. The ENCAP midsole gives you that soft landing, but the support is genuinely there - you can feel the structure through the midfoot. It's also one of those shoes that just looks good, which matters when people are wearing it all day."" - Sean, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Chula Vista, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a stability runner or overpronator looking for a shoe that handles light running and everyday walking without sacrificing comfort, the 990v6 is worth a serious look. It suits guys who want max cushioning underfoot, appreciate a supportive midsole, and need a shoe that works as hard during errands as it does during a workout. The classic suede and mesh build also makes it a natural fit for anyone who wants one shoe that covers a lot of ground.
