"Women's Saucony® Guide 18: The Women's Saucony Guide 18 is a stability running shoe built for runners who want reliable support and cushioning they can count on mile after mile. Whether you're logging easy miles, running longer distances, or spending extended time on your feet, the Guide 18 keeps your stride feeling balanced and comfortable. At 8.6 ounces with a 6mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits in a sweet spot between lightweight and supportive - responsive enough to feel lively, grounded enough to feel secure.Center Path technology works to keep your foot centered through each step, which helps your stride flow more naturally from heel to toe. PWRRUN foam in the midsole gives you mid-level cushioning that feels soft underfoot without losing that springy, energetic response. The broad base geometry adds a stable platform underfoot, so your foot sits securely rather than shifting around. An engineered mesh upper keeps airflow moving through the shoe during warmer runs or longer efforts, and the XT-900 carbon rubber outsole holds up well over time on road surfaces. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I recommend the Guide 18 a lot to runners who want stability without feeling like the shoe is working against them. The cushioning feels supportive but not stiff - it's the kind of shoe you can wear for a longer run and still feel good at the end. The centered feel underfoot is something customers really notice once they start moving in it."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you overpronate or simply feel better in a stability shoe, the Guide 18 is worth a close look. It's a strong fit for runners who want mid-level cushioning with a balanced, supportive ride for daily training runs or longer distances. It also works well for people who spend a lot of time on their feet and want a shoe that keeps them comfortable throughout the day. If you prefer a lighter stability shoe with a responsive feel rather than a maximally cushioned one, the Guide 18 hits that mark well.
