The Shimano ARMAJOINT Floating Swimbait solves the challenges of casting a large jointed bait for trophy bass, using advanced engineering to enhance distance, accuracy, and in-water performance. Proprietary ARMABOOST technology reduces air resistance and limits mid-air spin by allowing the body to disconnect from an internal magnet during the cast and fold into a compact profile. Once the lure hits the water, the body reengages with the magnet to produce a smooth, natural swimming motion. A versatile retrieve range supports fast or slow presentations, with a controlled S-pattern swim that stays tight on the pause thanks to the articulated body design. A slow-rising action rewards deliberate pauses during a slowed retrieve. Integrated FLASH BOOST technology suspends reflective foil on micro springs inside the body to emit continuous flash during the retrieve and on the pause, mimicking the erratic shimmer of injured baitfish. Paired with this visual trigger, SCALE BOOST composite-pitch holograms amplify light reflection through the water to replicate realistic baitfish scale patterns and heighten overall appeal. Purpose-built through innovation and refined lure technology, the Shimano ARMAJOINT Floating Swimbait has all the skills to draw consistent strikes from pressured, tournament-caliber fish.
