"For a straight, no-nonsense, all-around, best bang-for-your-buck, classic 1911, look right here at this DW. The Dan Wesson Valor 1911 Semi-Auto Pistol is simply just that. New improvements on an already incredible gun include a Stan Chen SI Magwell, tapered G-10 grips, a tactical ambidextrous thumb safety, and grip safety. The Valor now features an inverted rib, and an updated slide stop that will accommodate laser-grip panels. The rear-only, GI-style cocking serrations and clean, 25 LPI (Lines Per Inch) frontstrap checkering are simply beautiful. While many companies are big on brand-stamping slides, Dan Wesson 1911s are no billboard and simply place the model name small on the left side of the shooter. In this case, an elegantly-scribed ""Valor"" is all you see. The rear sight features a U-notch and a front sight with a bright orange ring around the tritium insert. Topped off with the forged stainless steel slide and frame, the Valor is simply a work of art and an absolute shooter. Dan Wesson has one of the best 1911 triggers out of the box. In a room full of the most premier 1911s, the Valor is going to fit right in and make you proud. Enjoy that smile. This one's going to last.
