The STANDARD version comes with a solid handle which gives the tool some mass making it a bit more durable in high torque situations. The SUPER LIGHT version shaves 125 grams out of the handle and are meant for working on well maintained bikes. The SL's are not suitable for use on bikes that have over torqued or seized lock rings.
