This configuration of the Sage Power R8 Fly Rod is designed to meet a range of performance needs while maintaining the fast and responsive character of the family. The 5 wt and standard 6 wt models emphasize precision, line speed, and control for technical casting situations. The 6 wt models equipped with a fighting butt in both 9 ft and 9 ft 6 in lengths provide added leverage and stability when applying pressure to strong fish or managing heavier loads. The 8 wt option delivers increased lifting power for larger flies and demanding conditions. All models feature four piece construction for improved portability while preserving the rod's powerful and controlled casting feel.
