This version of the Sage Shift Fly Reel is available in size ranges designed to match common freshwater fly rod weights. The 3/4 wt size emphasizes lightweight balance and precise line control for smaller rods and technical fishing situations. The 5/6 wt size offers increased capacity and strength, supporting greater versatility on larger water and with heavier lines. Both size options maintain smooth drag engagement and controlled retrieve performance, allowing anglers to manage pressure confidently throughout the fight. The family wide design ensures consistent feel and operation across sizes, making it easy to match the reel to different fishing setups without sacrificing performance.
