Long-range thermal surveillance requires a monocular that can pull meaningful detail out of the distance - and the Trijicon IR Patrol M250XR 60mm Black is purpose-built for exactly that application. The M250XR Extended Range configuration was developed specifically for the long-range thermal viewing needs of law enforcement and military personnel who conduct surveillance in complete darkness at distances where standard thermal monoculars lose useful magnification and resolution. The IRMO-250XR 32x digital magnification capability makes this the thermal monocular for long-range surveillance operations where closing the distance to the target is not an option. Combined with the 60mm objective lens and the 640x480 12-micron thermal core that delivers a surprisingly crisp image, the M250XR gives operators the ability to observe, identify, and document activity at ranges that shorter-focal-length thermal monoculars cannot effectively reach. The Trijicon thermal monocular M250XR is ideally used on a tripod at high magnification settings - the stability that a tripod provides at 32x makes the difference between a usable image and a frustrating one. The Trijicon thermal M250XR MAXPOL display system provides White Hot and Black Hot modes, each with three brightness settings. Edge Detect mode eliminates the risk of night blindness by displaying only the edges of warm targets against a dark background. The Image Capture feature saves up to 60 images for surveillance and reconnaissance documentation. The recessed thumbstick control works intuitively in complete darkness and with gloves on - a practical operational detail that matters during extended surveillance sessions. The handheld thermal monocular M250XR Mil-Spec 6061-T6 aluminum construction handles the rough treatment of serious operational use. Battery life reaches two hours at 60 Hz and nearly three hours at 30 Hz. Trijicon IR PATROL M250XR 60mm BLACK IRMO-250XR
