The Geissele URGI 11.5 Pistol in Desert Dirt Color is the compact 5.56mm pistol configuration that brings Geissele's URGI — Upper Receiver Group Improved — platform to serious AR shooters, military personnel, and law enforcement professionals who need operational-grade quality in a short-barreled format without the NFA requirements of a short-barreled rifle classification. The Geissele 11.5 URGI 11.5-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel with 1:7 twist is the foundation on which the platform's accuracy and durability are built. Cold hammer forging produces tighter internal dimensions, a better surface finish, and superior long-term durability compared to standard button-rifled barrels — delivering consistent accuracy and extended service life through the high round counts typical of serious tactical applications. The 1:7 twist stabilizes the full range of 5.56 projectile weights reliably across every practical load. The Geissele URGI 11.5 pistol full-auto-rated M16/M4 bolt carrier group reflects the operational-specification thinking that Geissele brings to every major component — a BCG built and rated to the standard that military full-auto demands, providing meaningful reliability and durability margins that hard semi-automatic use directly benefits from. The 11.5 URGI compact overall length and DDC finish give military, law enforcement, and serious enthusiast users a maneuverable, earth-tone platform that handles naturally in confined environments and during vehicle operations, where full-length configurations create unnecessary handling challenges.
