The Salomon S/Force 5 is an awesome option for beginner to intermediate level ladies looking to get off of rentals and onto their own planks. Tip Rocker makes getting the ski on edge easier with a slight rise in the tip and lots of camber throughout the rest of ski, letting contact points initiate to snows surface quicker. A Rental Chamfer adds extra durability to the top sheet for a longer lasting ski to learn and to handle abuse as you learn. A Semi Sandwich Sidewall gives a nice balance of torsional rigidity and flex for intermediate riders who are still learning to push the limits.
