Welted construction ensures a steady, stable platform for the boot that is resoleable for an extended lifespan. A steel shank increases underfoot stability, while the Treker midsole made from rubber and EVA reduces the weight of the boot and increases overall cushioning. The boot also provides extra protection from accidental contact with electrically energized objects.
