The MT5 HC Disc Brake appeals to riders who prefer a single finger level blade instead of the two-finger MT5 that is more popular with eBikes. Not intended as a replacement for the two-finger model, the MT5 HC appeals more to non eBike riders and offers a lower price point. The new model comes with an HC1 alloy lever blade with an adjustable reach and an easy bleed technology port. Also incorporated is a monobloc triple arch quad piston caliper design that features anti-drag and anti-squeal technologies.
