What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "The Torrente XC Trail is my go-to when the weather turns sloppy. It sheds mud instantly and finds traction on wet roots and rocks when other tires spin out. It's the kind of tire that keeps you moving when the trail says 'no thanks.'"When rain turns trails into a mess of ruts and puddles, the Vittoria Torrente XC Trail 29in Tire is the one we reach for. Vittoria engineered it with a wide tread spacing that clears thick mud on every rotation, ensuring consistent grip when conditions are slick. The alternating center ridge keeps rolling fast on the flats while still providing sharp braking edges on the descents. Each tread block is siped for wet traction, gripping roots and rocks buried beneath the muck. A 4Compound Graphene rubber blend maximizes control and durability, while the reinforced Trail casing with an anti-puncture belt stands up to sharp debris and rocky washouts. Whether racing cross-country or slogging through springtime slop, the Torrente keeps the ride rolling.
