What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I swapped to the HB18 cockpit on my R5 and immediately felt the difference. It's incredibly stiff when I'm sprinting but still comfortable over rough roads. Dropping almost 150 grams while gaining aero efficiency is no small feat-this bar feels fast and refined without any harshness."We trust the Cervelo HB18 Carbon 1-Piece Handlebar & Stem to deliver a perfect balance of lightweight performance and aerodynamic efficiency. Born from the wind-tunnel refinement of Cervelo's race-focused S5, the HB18 cockpit helps us cut through the air with two additional watts of aerodynamic advantage while dropping nearly 150 grams from the previous R5 setup. The integrated carbon layup provides exceptional stiffness and precision steering without compromising comfort over long rides. The HB18 ensures every rider can dial in a race-ready fit that feels tailor-made for endurance climbs and aggressive finishes alike.
