Product Description

A French-style chevre made in Vermont, Bonne Bouche is a wonderfully creamy and runny goat's milk cheese created by Vermont Creamery, under the careful eye of Allison Hooper. It's ripened with ash, after the bloomy rind goat cheeses of France's Loire Valley region, developing a creamy, unctuous texture that melts in the mouth and a flavor that's light, citrusy, tangy, with hints of earthy mushrooms and a spicy ending - truly, as its name indicates, a "good mouthful"! Bonne Bouche is presented in a pretty wooden box, which serves the dual purpose of containing all the velvety goodness (you might want a spoon for this one!), but also makes for great presentation at the table - and a lovely gift! Serve in a cheese platter or as a dessert cheese paired with rose wine and sweet fruit. Vermont Creamery is one of the leading diaries and cheese-making enterprises in the country. They're experts in producing excellent French-style goat cheeses (and great butters, too!) using artisan techniques that are almost indistinguishable from the ones in France and result in fine cheeses which are coveted by chefs and aficionados of fine cheese.
