Tiger Rock 308 Rifle Length Buffer 5.6 oz Black. 308 AR buffer helps reduce felt recoil and is an effective "short-barreled" solution. The .308 buffer does two things to reduce felt recoil and improves accuracy. First it pushes the receiver and frame out of the way a bit which puts less strain on the components that make up the buffer. This reduces the overall length of the firearm which improves reliability. Second it reduces the felt recoil which makes the firearm feel like an AR. The buffer also acts as a mild recoil buffer reducing the amount of felt recoil felt by the shooter. The buffer strokes out which makes it easier to shoulder and makes clearing the firearm easier.
