Third picture shows stock adapter with detent correctly installed on the right side. A drop of LOCTITE 243 "Blue" is recommended in the threads. The cheek piece snaps over the R-429 securily. With the R-429 Cheek Piece Detent installed the cheek piece can be ripped off the stock assembly for emergency back-up use of the iron sights.
