Pro-Shot Military Style Chamber Mops. While many firearm cleaning kits use mops this method leaves the cleaning rod unbroken allowing the rod to be easily pulled apart for thorough cleaning. Because the mops heat up during use they are safe for use in any firearm even those with closed breech systems. Additionally the soft cotton material is great for applying oil or solvents inside of firearms or while driving or riding in the car. While not as popular as modern-day mops they are gaining in popularity in the shooting community. With many firearms it won't be long before a bore mop or patch is used on it.
