Barnstead Diamond Cartridge Pack Orgfree Diamond Cartridge Pack Orgfree. The unique cartridge system ensures the integrity of the diamond ensuring that it remains in the correct shape and size for a particular run. To protect the high quality and consistency that go into each and every run of an Orgfree automixer this unique cartridge system requires that no changes be made to the batch of diamonds used. Substrate purity is ensured by the inert filling of the diamond. There is absolutely no surface contamination. To produce market differentiation in test results using a different filling such as a KOH or a petroleum distillate will yield different readings. Diamond gives the precise response because it does not change its shape or size during running. As a result there is less subjectivity in the determination of results. Diamond also exhibits other desirable properties such as high thermal conductivity and thermal shock. The super hard coating enables diamonds to be used in procedures involving alcohols steam or other oxidation methods.
