What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've used a lot of hemostats, but these are in a league of their own. The oversized handles are easy to grab, even with gloves, and the scissor blades are sharp enough to cut tippet cleanly without pulling out another tool. Clipping it to my pack with the carabiner handle makes it quick to access when I'm waist-deep in the river."When we're waist-deep in cold water with wind picking up and fingers going numb, simplicity matters. That's why we always clip the Flow Hemo to our packs. Developed by Orvis and powered by Loon Outdoors, these forceps are engineered with angler-specific ergonomics and just the right features to streamline everything from hook removal to mid-stream rig swaps. The oversized carabiner handle clips easily to a vest loop or daisy chain, and the angled tip gives us pinpoint control. There's an integrated scissor blade for snipping tippet on the fly, and the locking handle keeps things secure when clipped in transit. Finished with a strong plasma coating, they're built to last through countless fish and seasons.
