The Mammut Barryvox 2 avalanche beacon is designed for backcountry skiers and splitboarders who prioritize simplicity and performance on tours in avalanche terrain. Its intuitive layout, featuring a single switch, a single button, and a separate flagging button makes it incredibly easy to operate in high-stress situations. Equipped with a triple antenna, this beacon offers an impressive 70-meter digital range, ensuring reliable performance when it matters most. The easy-to-read, goggle-friendly display shows the distance, direction, and number of burial victims, while visual and audio cues help guide us through our search, so we can stay efficient and on-task. The auto-revert function switches from search to send after we are still for four minutes, improving our safety in the case of a secondary avalanche.
