The Yakima Bait Twitcher Jig was explicitly created for the twitching jig casting technique, which calls for quarter casts slightly upstream and hopping or snapping the jig off the bottom using aggressive rod strokes. Simple and easy to master, the method and Yakima twitching jigs work in rivers, lakes, and estuaries everywhere coho is found. The Twitcher Jig has a darter-style head that creates movement when the jig is hopped or twitched. The combination of rabbit fur, maribou, and squid tentacles in the jig's body creates a pulsating effect in the water, making it even more irresistible to salmon. The hook is 4Xs strong and 4/0 size, perfect for catching powerful fish. You can choose from three sizes, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 ounce versions, to suit different water depths and current speeds.
