Designed for aggressive bass, the Deps Sakamata Shad Heavy delivers a high-salt, weighted profile for precision mid-column and bottom fishing. Unlike standard soft jerkbaits, this weight-balanced design sinks naturally while maintaining an erratic, darting action. The salt concentration adds density for longer casts and improves control, making it a deadly choice for pressured fish. Unlike standard soft jerkbaits, the Deps Sakamata Shad Heavy glides effortlessly just below the surface, mimicking a vulnerable baitfish with erratic darting action. Its unique weight balance allows for longer pauses between twitches, making it an ideal choice for weightless Texas rigs, EWG hooks, or weighted swimbait hooks when targeting pressured bass in clear or deep water. Anglers describe this bait as fitting between a Super Fluke and a Magnum Fluke, offering a perfect middle ground for big fish presentation without sacrificing finesse movement. Weighted soft jerkbait for fishing deeper water columns High-salt content enhances balance, castability, and control Erratic darting action mimics injured baitfish to trigger strikes Ideal for bass fishing in clear, deep, or pressured conditions Perfect alternative to traditional Fluke-style jerkbaits Hook slot to make sure it is rigged straight (recommended hook size: # 3/0 offset hook) Rig weightless on an EWG hook; use split-shot or a Carolina rig for deep water targets; rigging the hook slightly curved allows for a more intense and unpredictable darting action Quantity per pack: 6 Please note that the colors may appear slightly different in person than they do on your phone or computer
