The Empire SLX II is sleeker than its predecessor, with a unique Synchwire knitted TPU monofilament mesh upper, reducing weight while increasing airflow and comfort. The upper is reinforced with a thermally bonded TPU skin, while a reliable 7-eyelet lace-up closure allows riders to find the perfect fit every time. The unidirectional forged carbon plate in the midsole was originally developed for motorsports and results in a 20Nm stiffer design than the previous Empire SLX for maximum power transfer. The Supernatural Fit System includes a footbed with adjustable arch support, using Low, Medium, and High arch support chips, for more comfort and improved efficiency.
