While the handling geometry on the new R5 is nearly the same (aside from a small change to BB drop to account for 29mm tires), Cervelo changed the fit geometry to match that of the S5. The frame features internal cable routing, aero thru-axles, clearance for up to 34mm tires, and disc brakes. The Force AXS version of the Cervelo R5 comes with a SRAM Force AXS 2x12-speed drivetrain. With a 48/35T chainring combo up front and a 10-33T cassette on the rear, you'll have no issues climbing the steepest hills and riding longer distances. SRAM Force hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence.
