Cane Creek ee Silk Seatpost Extend your ride Smooth out the road and trails with the Cane Creek ee Silk Seatpost. Designed to reduce numbness and rider fatigue caused by long rides on uneven ground, the Cane Creek ee Silk Seatpost uses an elastomer insert and a four-link design to allow the saddle to move through 20mm of travel. The elastomer acts as a cushion between the saddle and the seatpost, allowing the saddle to have some give without changing the fit of the saddle or your riding position. There are five different elastomers available for the ee Silk, each with their own individual durometer, which allows you to swap out the elastomers for a softer or firmer elastomer based on your weight and riding conditions. The four-link, parallel linkage design helps maintain the saddle angle as it smooths out the trail for a natural pedaling feel. The seatpost is made out of T6 aluminum alloy, the mounting hardware and pivots are stainless steel and the linkage is made out of machined aluminum alloy for a lightweight and durable construction that weighs in at just 345 grams.
