The two aluminum cranks are fitted with semi-axles in AISI 630 steel. The new Pro Tech technology joins the two semi-axles inside the bottom bracket, with a single sturdy screw. The oversized stainless steel bearing race is on the crank, fitted onto the semi-axle for maximum smoothness and resistance. The lightweight resistant chainrings in 7075 aluminum are easily interchangeable: simply unscrew them off the four arms of the crank with no need to dismantle the crankset. The four arms are arranged symmetrically for optimum load distribution and have a 104mm bolt circle diameter.
