Petzl's Rad Line is a radically ultralight, hyperstatic cord that assists skiers doing crevasse rescue work, roping up on glaciers, and traversing glacial terrain. Unlike most static ropes, the Rad Line uses less than 2% elongation to improve certain rescue scenarios. The rough-textured sheath improves handling and accommodates Petzl's Tibloc and Micro Traxion devices.
