We keep our legs toasty on blustery skintracks with Mountain Hardwear's Ghost Whisperer Pant. The toasty 800-fill down resists moisture to hold its loft, while the specially engineered Whisperer 15D ripstop fabric creates a super-light construction that won't slow us down. The compressible down can be packed into its own zippered pocket, so the pants can be easily stored in a pack when not in use. And the slim fit easily layers beneath a waterproof shell to give some warmth while in the cold alpine.
