What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I use this hoodie year-round-it's breathable enough for high-output hikes and ski tours but warm enough to wear around camp. The RealFleece interior is soft and cozy, and the underarm ventilation actually works. Great midlayer for when I'm on the move."When the pace picks up, we want a layer that works as hard as we do. The Icebreaker Merino Blend 200 RealFleece Descender Zip Hoodie is built for high-output adventures-whether we're skinning up at sunrise, trail running in the crisp air, or layering for alpine climbing missions. Lightweight yet warm, this hoodie strikes the perfect balance between breathability, comfort, and performance-driven features. Icebreaker's RealFleece(TM) technology delivers soft, brushed merino wool against the skin for natural temperature regulation and odor resistance. Cool-Lite(TM) fabric in key zones boosts breathability, while thoughtful details like offset seams, flatlock stitching, and thumb loop cuffs elevate comfort on the move. The shaped hood and dipped hem provide full coverage, and we love how the underarm eyelets keep airflow steady during steep efforts. It's technical, streamlined, and adventure-ready.
