What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I recommend the Momentum to anyone just getting into climbing or looking for an all-day comfortable shoe. It's breathable, easy to get on and off, and solid for gym sessions and mellow outdoor routes. I've worn mine on everything from plastic to granite slabs."We remember our first pair of climbing shoes-and we're glad the Black Diamond Momentum exists for those stepping onto the wall for the first time. With its flat last, soft flex, and breathable knit upper, this shoe delivers out-of-the-box comfort for long sessions and multi-hour belay hangs. The hook-and-loop closure makes for quick adjustments, while the NeoFriction rubber gives just the right amount of stick for everything from gym footholds to outdoor smearing. Whether we're bouldering indoors, top-roping outside, or just getting into the sport, the Momentum gives us the comfort and control we need to progress.
