KleenBore Rust Guardit Features The Kleen-Bore Rust Guardit is formulated to penetrate deep into the pores of a firearm s metal giving it protection against rust and corrosion that sits on the surface of lesser oils. The solvent side of the formula breaks down fouling primer residue plastics and general dirt from both inside and outside the action so a single product handles the bulk of a cleaning routine. Because it reaches into tight tolerances and small parts it is well suited to actions with close fitting components where buildup can affect reliability. Regular use helps keep a firearm s bore and action free of the residue that leads to sluggish cycling. Beyond cleaning Rust Guardit lubricates surfaces so they can withstand the high heat and pressure produced during firing without breaking down supporting smoother performance shot after shot. Its rust prevention properties continue working even in the presence of water which makes it a practical choice for firearms exposed to humid storage conditions or wet field use. The 20 ounce jar ships with a leather chamois cloth giving the shooter a ready to use applicator for wiping down exterior metal surfaces. For anyone maintaining multiple firearms the KleenBore Rust Guardit jar offers a straightforward way to clean lubricate and protect in one product.
