Kleen-Bore Super Carbon Fiber Features The Kleen-Bore Super Carbon Fiber Cleaning Rod is built around a carbon fiber shaft that is both lightweight and rigid which helps keep the rod running straight through the bore instead of flexing and dragging against the rifling. Its non-marring properties protect the bore s finish from scratches that can occur with harder or poorly finished rod materials over repeated cleanings. At 36 inches long it is sized to reach fully through a .270 caliber rifle barrel and the 8-32 thread pattern on the tip accepts standard jags brushes and patch holders. This combination makes it a dependable tool for routine maintenance after a day at the range or in the field. The full size ergonomic handle is shaped to give the shooter a secure comfortable grip during cleaning reducing hand fatigue on rifles that need frequent attention. Because the rod is purpose built for .270 caliber rifles it avoids the flex and binding issues that come from using an oversized or undersized rod in the wrong bore diameter. Kleen-Bore designs this rod as part of a broader lineup of cleaning tools meant to keep a rifle s bore in top condition over its working life. It is a straightforward durable addition to any range bag or home cleaning kit.
