Apex Ammunition Waterfowl S3 Features The Apex Ammunition Waterfowl S3 shell is built around premium plated steel shot paired with an ultra durable one piece wad designed around the same internal system used in Apex s Tungsten Super Shot loads. That wad design delivers superior patterning and knockdown power that Apex says has never before been experienced in a steel shotshell. Number 3 steel shot at a 1-1/4 ounce payload gives hunters a slightly higher pellet count than larger shot sizes useful for decoying ducks at moderate ranges. Driven to 1450 feet per second this load provides the speed needed to reach birds working a spread or passing overhead. Apex built this S3 Steel line specifically to answer steel shot s traditional patterning limitations without asking hunters to step up to more expensive tungsten loads. The 3 inch shell length fits the wide range of 12 gauge waterfowl guns hunters already run in the blind or the field. Packed 25 rounds per box it gives waterfowl hunters enough ammunition for a full morning hunt without frequent reloading. Apex Ammunition Waterfowl S3 12 gauge ammunition is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want extreme patterning and unmatched knockdown power from steel shot.
