evo.com | Volkl Skis > The big daddy of expert all-mountain skis, the Volkl M7 Mantra Skis tackle all manner of frontside terrain with Germanic power, precision and stability. The finely tuned combination of 4 Radius Drive sidecut, Tailored Titanal Frame, and Tailored Carbon Tip make this the best Mantra yet, and you'll feel a boost in confidence the moment you step into it. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Full Sidewall Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls. Multilayer Woodcore A combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it. Tailored Carbon Tips In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on handling. 4 Radius Drive A new sidecut with 4 distinct radii where they're most effective. ~20m in the shovel for quick turn initiation, ~40m between shovel and binding for stability at speed, ~15m under the bindings for agility and ~25m behind the bindings for a dynamic finish to your turns The Attack binding that leads the way in sales among expert freeride skiers, and arguably the best band for the buck, the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Ski Bindings deliver plenty of retention for all but the heaviest and gnarliest of skiers and are amazingly easy to get into and out of. With a low stand height and awesome elasticity when you're pushing it, the Attack 14 GW does everything you need it to without complaint. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
