Colt Firearms Enhanced Patrol Rifle Features The Colt Firearms Enhanced Patrol Rifle is built around a pinned and welded 14.5 barrel a configuration that maintains the barrel s true 16 legal length while accommodating a muzzle device permanently affixed for added performance. A 1:7 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights giving shooters flexibility in ammunition selection for duty or training use. The mil-spec trigger provides a reliable consistent break shooters can count on under stress and the internal hammer firing system is proven across decades of Colt AR-15 platforms. A bird cage flash hider reduces visible signature while managing muzzle blast during low-light engagements. The Magpul MBUS Pro Series front and rear sights provide a durable low-profile backup sighting system that folds out of the way when an optic is mounted. A B5 Systems Bravo stock offers a comfortable adjustable length of pull and cheek weld for shooters wearing duty gear or body armor. The extended Centurion handguard provides ample rail space for lights slings and other accessories while an ejection port cover helps keep the action clean between deployments. Finished in matte black anodized aluminum the Enhanced Patrol Rifle delivers the reliability and durability Colt is known for in a complete duty-ready package.
